Spectrum of Power is an eight-day Erasmus+ training course aimed at helping youth workers better understand and address conflicts and acts of violence shaped by the environments in which young people live. Participants will delve into the dynamics of conflict, exploring how it connects to our inner selves, relationships, and societal contexts. The course emphasizes developing deeper body awareness and understanding behavior through body memory, equipping participants with practical tools to support young people more effectively. A systemic perspective ties these elements together, enabling participants to visualize and implement strategies to reduce conflict and violent tendencies.

The course adopts an experiential approach, combining movement, theatre, and reflection. Body expressivity and non-verbal communication techniques will help participants access new ways of connecting with others. Movement-based practices such as walking, touching, and dancing cultivate empathy and trust, while improvisational theatre provides a playful yet meaningful space to explore conflicts. Meditation and daily reflections support participants in integrating their learning, while discussions on transferability ensure the methods can be adapted to diverse youth work contexts.

This training offers more than tools, it is an opportunity for personal and professional transformation. Participants will leave with greater self-awareness, renewed confidence in their practice, and the ability to create stronger, healthier connections within their communities.
